Dr. Stodůlka, together with Dr. Zuzana Halašová, received the Avedro Award for pioneering work in strengthening the cornea with a new cross-linking method in an oxygen-enriched atmosphere.
He was elected by the clear majority of the committee members.
American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) appraised Dr. Stodůlka`s scientific videos when they branded them as remarkable and resend the videos to be observed by all their members all around the world.
Dr. Stodůlka became a special guest lecturing at a prestigious international ophthalmological conference in Mumbai, India. At this Eye Advance 2016 conference, he was awarded a prize for outstanding services in ophthalmology.
On February 26th–28th, the 2016 ESCRS conference (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons) took place in Athens, Greece. Among the presenters was also dr. Stodůlka who contributed to the Conference with his lecture.
Dr. Stodůlka not only attended the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual congress as a speaker in November 2015, but he also made it to the start of the 5km charity run with his son Jiri.
Dr. Stodůlka gave lectures at the XXXIII Congress of the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) in Barcelona.
An article summarizing the experience with a trifocal lens was published in Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today Europe (January 2015).
In June 2014, the Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today Europe journal published a research paper by Dr. Stodůlka, Head eye surgeon, summarizing the previous experience in cataract surgery using the VICTUS laser.
