Dr. Stodůlka performed a laser eye surgery to Tomas Bata`s granddaughter. Francesca Bata Blyth flew for the surgery at GEMINI in Zlin from Canada.
Tomas Bata`s family became fond of Pavel Stodůlka`s work several years ago. The first one to undergo a surgery at dr. Stodůlka`s clinic was Tomas Bata, Jr. and was later followed by his daughter Monica with her husband, daughter Rosemarie and his grandson Thomas. After his visit to GEMINI Eye Clinic Tomas Bata, Jr. said: "I am proud of Czech doctors skills and knowledge, it is worth travelling to them from Canada.“

Dr. Stodůlka attended an international conference on laser eye surgeries in Athens, Greece on Saturday September 14 2013. He also contributed to the conference with two lectures on the usage of femtosecond and nanosecond lasers in eye surgery.

In June 2013 SOE 2013 congress was held by the European Society of Ophthalmology and was attended by more than 4000 ophthalmologists and eye specialists.

On Thursday May 23rd 2013, dr. Stodulka, head surgeon at GEMINI Eye Clinic, lectured by invitation from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in Liverpool on modern laser eye surgeries. It is a great honor to receive an invitation from the Royal College and it does not happen often that a Czech surgeon is invited. Dr. Stodulka`s lecture was accepted with a vast success and was praised by an applause from the audience.

For the second time this year Dr. Stodulka lectured in Chicago, IL, USA at the Annual meeting of eye surgeons all over the world – AAO APAO Chicago 2012 during 10th-12th November.

GEMINI Eye Clinic in Zlin was visited by another group of eye surgeons who came to see laser cataract surgeries as performed by Dr. Pavel Stodulka with the use of VICTUS femtosecond laser platform. The visitors were from Belgium and the Netherlands and came to Zlin only to pay a short visit.

On the occassion of the Czech State Day on 28th October, Dr. Stodulka and his wife had been invited to attend the official celebration in Prague Castle. The Czech President Vaclav Klaus, who is a patient of Dr. Stodulka, entered Vladislav Hall of the Castle without his glasses and he also read the celebration speech without them.

Dr. Stodulka has developed a new method for cataract surgeries. By using two laser platforms the energy necessary for the surgery has been reduced.
