After two years, the paramedics met at the 15th Zlín Ophthalmological Festival
For 15 years now, educational events have been popular among ophthalmologists, nurses, optometrists, and other experts in ophthalmology. On Friday, March 25, it moved from the online environment to the Zlín Congress Center after two years. Attendance was high - almost 500 participants. In addition to three blocks of professional lectures, visitors watched a live online discussion with international participation and a cultural program presented by violin virtuoso prof. Peter Michalica.
There were 16 interesting case reports from ophthalmological practice. Leading eye surgeons such as Pavel Rozsíval, Milan Izák and many others discussed the given topics. A number of the world's leading ophthalmologists, such as Silvio Zuccarini (Italy), Liliana Werner (USA), Detlev Breyer (Germany), and many others, gave a live international discussion at the European Ophthalmology Institute. The jury chose Peter Žiak's Strange Barley as the winning study.
On the day of the congress, the head of the Gemini Eye Clinic network and the festival president Pavel Stodůlka received many congratulations on his birthday. He was most pleased with the sweet gift in the form of a cake, on which he was modeled riding his favorite motor surfboard.
