Dr. Stodůlka and his son Jiri took part in the Run for Vision in Las Vegas
Dr. Stodůlka contributed to the prestigious event in Las Vegas by holding two specialist lectures. At the ISRS (International Society for Refractive Surgery), he gave a lecture about a new laser called the CapsuLaser, which is used in cataract surgery. The laser was developed in California but was used for the very first time at the Gemini Eye Clinic. The lecture raised a great deal of interest.
On top of the lectures, Dr. Stodůlka was also a panel member along with a group of chosen surgeons from around the world at a course for complex laser lens surgery. During the course, the prestigious Barraquer prize was awarded to the American eye surgeon Eric Donnenfeld for his contribution to eye surgery.
On Sunday 15th November, Dr. Stodůlka and his son Jiri took part in the Run for Vision 5km charity race, which was a voluntary part of the conference program. Jiri Stodůlka even won his age group.
