Pavel Stodulka in the top management of ESCRS
Pavel Stodůlka has reached another significant career milestone. He was elected Treasurer (CFO) at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) committee meeting in Copenhagen. This achievement confirms his extraordinary professional prestige and impact in international ophthalmology.
Pavel Stodůlka is historically the first surgeon from the Czech Republic and the entire former Eastern Bloc to become a member of the ESCRS Executive Board. This makes him one of the four highest representatives of the organization, which is one of the most important in the field of ophthalmic surgery in the world.
ESCRS is currently led by President Filomena Ribeiro from Portugal, who will be succeeded by Burkhard Dick. Joaquín Fernández from Spain will serve as Secretary. Together they will continue the successful development of the ESCRS, of which Dr. Stodůlka is still a member.
Among the major projects of the ESCRS leadership is the follow-up to the record-breaking Congress in Barcelona, which attracted over 16,000 participants. Pavel Stodůlka's achievements, not only in his role as CFO, but also in the field of surgical innovation and the education of new specialists, are helping to shape ophthalmology.
