Pavel Stodůlka was the first surgeon in the world to implant an EDOF LuxSmart lens

Pavel Stodůlka performed the world's first implantation of a new EDOF LuxSmart lens manufactured by Bausch & Lomb. The first patient with a cataract was implanted with an intraocular lens at the Gemini Clinic in Zlín. The top EDOF lenses have a greater depth of field. They are gaining ground not only in cataract surgery but also in removing of diopters by replacing the intraocular lens. They guarantee sharp vision even at medium distances.
