The City of Milan hosted the 40th ESCRS Congress. Dr. Stodůlka also lectured at the event
The 40th ESCRS Congress took place from 16th to 20th September in Milan, Italy. Speakers came from different parts of Europe. Chief eye surgeon and founder of Gemini Eye Clinic, Dr. Pavel Stodůlka, also accepted the invitation. As part of the symposium, he presented, among other things, the results of a study of microlenses for the correction of presbyopia. The high level of ophthalmic medicine in the Czech Republic was again confirmed.
The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons organizes two annual ophthalmology congresses. With its rich program, the event attracted more than 12,000 participants. More than 300 lectures were given at nine symposia over five days. Dr. Stodůlka gave an address at the conference, for example, about the results of a study of microlenses for the correction of presbyopia. In addition, more than 100 practical courses were held, and there was also space for medical professionals and the professional public to meet with leading manufacturers for ophthalmology.
